Hi, I'm Nikolay, Fullstack Developer. Now I'm working as a Fullstack Developer at Develops Today company, where I build and maintain services for a large US auto insurance platform. Also, I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and I'm continuing my studies in the same field at Kharkiv National University of Economics.

Programming is my passion, I've been studying it since I was a child. During this period I've tried myself in different languages such as Python, Type/JavaScript, C++, C#, Kotlin and even NASM assembly. But my first and favorite was always Python, so I decided to become a Python Backend Developer. During my work, I explored frontend development, which I found also very engaging, and that's how I ended up working across the whole stack rather than one side of it.

What I enjoy most is the part of the job that goes beyond writing code: digging into a system nobody fully remembers anymore, finding why it behaves the way it does, and leaving it simpler than I found it. I've worked both on highload products with hundreds of thousands of users and on complex business domains where a wrong number is not a crash but a real financial consequence, and both taught me to care about correctness and about the people who will read my code after me.
